The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and property. Duties include patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and enforcing hotel security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel premises regularly to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
• Operate and monitor CCTV and alarm systems and respond to any security breaches or suspicious activity.
• Act quickly in emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security incidents, and provide assistance as needed.
• Assist guests with security concerns, answer questions regarding hotel policies, and protect personal belongings.
• Record detailed incident reports and, when necessary, follow up with appropriate authorities.
• Ensure that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas and that all doors and exits are secure.
• Manage lost and found items, properly documenting and storing them.
• Enforce hotel policies on conduct, safety, and security.
• Collaborate with hotel management and local law enforcement to maintain a safe environment.

Hourly position with a compensation of $31 per hour.

Qualifications

• Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills.
• Previous security experience preferred.
