Instituto Familiar de la Raza, Inc. is a multi‑service community health & social service agency that serves the Chicano/Latino/Indigenous community in San Francisco, with a special focus on the diverse needs of the Mission District. Services include mental health, HIV‑related services, social services, health promotion, education, prevention, early intervention, case management, clinical, psychological, and psychiatric intervention, as well as cultural/social and spiritual re‑enforcement. The agency serves children, youth, adults & families; it collaborates with other agencies to meet the diverse needs of the Chicano/Latino/Indigenous communities and other cultural/racial communities in the Bay Area.
Under the direction of the Fiscal Director, the Accounting Assistant provides administrative support across a variety of accounting transactions such as invoices, billings, accounts payable and expenses in accordance with department procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining accounting files, verifying data, entering data into computerized accounting systems, researching queries, generating reports, and performing related clerical duties in support of accounts payable and receivable.
Full‑time exempt position (35 hours/week). Annual hourly salary: $32.00 – $35.00, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and education.
