About Forage

Forage builds the modern payments stack that powers inclusive commerce. Our technology enables grocers, delivery platforms, and point‑of‑sale systems to accept EBT payments online and in‑store. We help SNAP EBT shoppers stretch their grocery budgets, making healthy food more affordable and accessible to 42 million Americans on food assistance.

Base pay range

$120,000/yr – $145,000/yr

What We're Looking For

• Love building great products and engineering systems
• Can articulate your thoughts well
• Can articulate and balance implementation tradeoffs
• Are productive, resourceful, and an effective problem solver
• Write high‑quality code, value software testing, and uphold best practices in engineering
• Exhibit a strong understanding of CS fundamentals from your Bachelor's in CS, engineering, related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience building a PayFac or Payment Processor system
• Work effectively in a remote setting and overlap at least 4 hours per work day at 9am‑5pm PST
