Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CAO, Chair, principal investigators, and their labs. Serve as the initial point of contact for the department and act as onsite liaison for visitors, invited guests, and new employees. Work with faculty and lab members to submit reimbursements, facilitate department events and seminars, schedule and execute meetings, and maintain calendars, conference rooms, etc. Additional administrative tasks include but are not limited to UCPath transactions, financial journals, PCMA case support, Bearbuy purchasing, CTB website updates, emergency action plan updates, and department communications (listserv and social media accounts). Perform special projects as assigned.

The Department of Cell and Tissue Biology (CTB) is a basic science department within the School of Dentistry. Established in 2005, it includes 15 faculty with primary appointments, five with secondary appointments, numerous postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students in programs ranging from Biomedical Sciences, Tetrad and Biophysics to Developmental & Stem Cell Biology and Oral & Craniofacial Sciences. Faculty research interests include cell biology mechanisms relevant to cytoskeletal dynamics, development, metabolism, cancer, immunology and neurobiology.
