About The Role

As an EIR in the Engineering Track at Anyscale, you will work directly with our Co-Founder Robert Nishihara, as a recent CS-degree graduate. This role will be heavily customer-facing and will involve working with our most advanced customers to help support their AI workloads. In addition, it will involve taking things end-to-end, from understanding the customer problems to improving our product to address those problems.

Responsibilities

• Work with many of our most advanced customers to solve their challenges, debug their issues, and help them succeed with running scalable AI workloads (including training, inference, data processing, and reinforcement learning) with Ray.
• Collaborate closely with the rest of the engineering team to improve Ray and the Anyscale platform.
• Build examples and demos using the Anyscale Platform to showcase how to use Ray and Anyscale to scale complex compute-intensive AI workloads.
• Contribute to winning more customers and growing our business.
• You will spend most of your time coding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Recent graduate (0-2 years post-graduation) with strong engineering skills, ideally from internships or academic projects.
• Intensity, a willingness to work all the time and do whatever is needed to grow the business.
• Solid programming experience (e.g., Python, C++), and a willingness to dive and debug the challenging bugs.
• Self-starter mentality; comfortable with ambiguity and building things from scratch. You're entrepreneurial even if you haven't founded a company yet.
