The Hampton by Hilton located in Daly City has immediate opening for a part-time Room Attendant/Houseperson
The cleanliness of the guestroom is a key to meeting our hotel quality and guest standards. Thus, attention to every job detail is very important to the success of the hotel and achieving and exceeding job performance requirements. The Room Attendant cleans guest rooms by stripping beds and bathroom of dirty linen, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing bathroom, remaking bed, replacing towels, bath mat and shower curtain, and replacing all amenities, etc. The Room Attendant reports anything in the guest room that needs repair and/or replacement. The Room Attendant is helpful and friendly to guests. The Room Attendant reports any found item left by guest to Executive Housekeeper or front desk as soon as found. The Houseperson maintains the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the building, deliver linen to each floor, deliver items to guest rooms as needed, remove trash from linen cart and discard in dumpster, as well as work in teh laundry department. This position is required work weekends and holidays during your regular scheduled days.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1). Physical ability to perform essential functions of job.
2). To be able to physically lift and carry up to 25 lbs. frequently.
3). To be able to physically push up to over 100 lbs. (housekeepers' cart) frequently.
4). Ability to communicate to supervisor and hotel guests.
5). Ability to follow instructions.
6). Ability to be cooperative with co-workers and supervisor.
7). Ability to see, grasp (fine finger manipulation), and reach above shoulders.

Pay rate is $21.00 per hour
