About the Role

Our engineering team has scaled from 12 to 40+ engineers in the past year, and were still growing fast. Were looking for experienced mid- to senior-level Engineering Managers to help us navigate this next phase. Youve led teams of around 10 engineers at varying levels, and you know how to build for scalehiring, career development, mentorship, org design, and beyond. We have multiple teams tackling a wide range of technical challenges, and well work with you to place you where your interests and strengths align.

Office Location:

We are a hybrid company based in the Bay Area with offices in both San Francisco & Menlo Park. We care about work-life balance, and understand that there will be times where flexibility is needed.

What you will do:

  • Build and own backend and full-stack systems that power partner integrations and patient access
  • Architect features that enable multi-state rollouts, new clinical programs, and scalable delivery models
  • Turn bespoke partner requests into reusable platform capabilities
  • Collaborate with product, data, ops, and clinical teams to launch high-impact solutions
  • Lead projects end to end from scoping and design through implementation and rollout
  • Shape the technical direction of Partner Engineering as we scale nationally

What have you done:
  • Spent 5+ years building backend or full-stack systems in production
  • Led projects or small pods from architecture through delivery
  • Worked with external partners, APIs, or integrations to ship real features
  • Built in fast-growing or startup environments where ambiguity and speed are normal
  • Collaborated closely with product, ops, or data teams to solve real-world problems
  • Mentored other engineers through code reviews, guidance, or technical leadership

What gives you an edge:
  • Youve worked in health tech, logistics, or other integration-heavy environments
  • Youve scaled backend systems to support rapid growth and operational complexity
  • Youve built or owned partner-facing APIs, data flows, or onboarding integrations
  • Youre comfortable designing for privacy, compliance, or regulated industries
  • Youve operated in Series AC startups where scope, speed, and ownership were high

The Interview Process
  • We aim to complete the interview process between 2-3 weeks. It will usually consist of:
  • Recruiter Screen (30-Minutes)
  • Hiring Manager Introduction (30-Minutes)
  • Technical Assessment (45-Minutes)
  • Onsite Interview: Systems Design + Behavioral Interview + Lunch with the Team (3-hours)

$175,000 - $215,000 a year
