The Opportunity

We are seeking an Analyst, Asset Management to join our San Francisco team and help drive the performance of our multi‑state portfolio. This role offers ownership of key reporting and forecasting processes, along with deep involvement in financial analysis and ROI evaluation. You'll collaborate with asset and property management teams, external partners, and represent Prime Residential in the real estate community. With oversight across 50 communities, your insights will be essential to maintaining our high‑performance standards.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting to evaluate asset performance, identify opportunities, and support long‑term cash flow forecasting.
  • Monitor budget variances and provide data‑driven recommendations to the Asset Management team.
  • Analyze market data including employment trends, infrastructure, and regulatory factors across investment regions.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with property management and other departments to support operational excellence and portfolio growth.
  • Represent Prime Residential in the real estate community, building relationships with industry contacts and stakeholders.
  • Maintain high standards of communication and customer service, responding to inquiries professionally and contributing to process improvements.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree, or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business field
  • Real Estate industry experience required
  • CFA candidate or charter holder preferred
  • One‑plus years of prior analysis experience preferred
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Team player attitude who can work independently and collaboratively
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Knowledge or familiarity of multifamily housing management software is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time
