A Business Analyst works closely with consultants and senior consultants on client engagements to perform industry and market analysis for a specific project engagement. You will gather and gain insights from data using specific research techniques and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Your Responsibilities
- Research and keep abreast of trends and developments within the payments industry and our clients' portfolio
- Contribute to the development of financial models
- Gathering quantitative and qualitative data via primary and secondary research (desk research)
- Conduct analyses, support in the development of conclusions and implications
- Support the development of written analyses and reports related to each project engagement
- Contribute to the writing of articles about EDC perspectives of industry trends impacting our clients
Requirements and Skills
- An undergraduate degree with distinction (at least a 2:1 or honours) or graduate degree (MBA or related Masters) from a top‑tier university
- Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required with strong presentation and communication skills (you will regularly speak with high‑level executives)
- A second language (such as French, Spanish, German) at a level of business conversation would be an advantage
- Experience working in small teams and with little supervision
- Analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and high‑quality standards
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritise workload
- An interest in the financial services and the payments industry
- Robust experience of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
