Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Compensation: $150,000–$175,000 DOE

Overview

A private Bay Area family seeks an experienced and highly organized Property Maintenance & Service Manager to oversee the maintenance and service operations of multiple luxury residential and commercial properties.


This role requires a professional with exceptional organizational abilities, technical fluency, and a strong service mindset. The ideal candidate will bring a hospitality-informed approach, the ability to manage complex projects, and a polished, solutions-oriented presence when engaging with principals, vendors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all property maintenance, repair, and service operations across multiple residential and commercial locations.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely coordination, quality workmanship, and accountability.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for property-related matters, maintaining seamless communication between principals, household teams, and service providers.
  • Collaborate closely with the property leadership team on preventative maintenance schedules and service planning.
  • Identify maintenance issues and defects proactively, ensuring all systems and finishes are maintained to the highest standard.
  • Support larger property and renovation projects, coordinating with architects, designers, and contractors.
  • Maintain accurate logs, maintenance records, and vendor documentation to ensure continuity and efficiency.

  • Technically Fluent: Understands property systems, construction processes, and vendor coordination; able to assess and communicate maintenance needs effectively.
  • Collaborative & Dependable: Works well with household teams and outside vendors to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in property management, construction management, or maintenance supervision.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, preventative maintenance, and vendor oversight.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency with Mac systems, including Excel, Google Sheets, Notes, and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience within luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality settings is highly valued.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between Bay Area properties as needed
