Production Assistant

Location: Oakland, CA
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Industry: Manufacturer and distributor of edible cannabis products
About the Role

As a Production Assistant, you will support the candy-making and edible production process from start to finish. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where temperatures may fluctuate. Please dress accordingly.
Job Duties

• Monitor product mixtures and ensure proper temperature throughout production
• Pour mixtures into kettles; buckets may weigh up to 55 pounds
• Move product through the manufacturing process, including transporting barrels to scales (barrels weigh up to 120 pounds)
• Document and record temperatures, weights, batch details, and other manufacturing data
• Communicate clearly and efficiently both verbally and in writing
• Move finished product into storage areas
• Manage and adjust temperature and humidity levels in the cold room
• Maintain quality standards and follow production procedures
• Assist with basic maintenance of production equipment
• Clean and sanitize the production area to maintain a safe work environment
