The successful candidate recruits and develops a diverse, high-performing team to exceed sales goals within an assigned region while managing key projects and collaborating with commercial cross-functional teams. They provide strategic direction, field coaching, and develop specialty pharmacy fulfillment access strategies. The position requires excellent relationship-building abilities with internal and external stakeholders, impactful communication skills, and the ability to execute successful sales meetings while guiding the team toward effective solutions./ppYour contributions include, but are not limited to:/pulliLeadership Talent Management/liulliLead regional sales team by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent/liliProvide strategic direction and performance coaching to achieve team excellence/liliSupport team development and ensure proper onboarding of new team members/li/ulliStrategy Execution/liulliDrive regional implementation of sales strategies to meet or exceed sales objectives/liliDevelop targeted strategies for psychiatric and neurological markets/liliIdentify regional opportunities and remove barriers to team success/liliFoster innovative sales approaches and best practices/li/ulliPerformance Management/liulliAnalyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions/liliHold team accountable for execution of sales strategies and meeting objectives/liliConsistently spends time with each account specialist in the field to observe and coach performance/liliProvide regular performance feedback and development opportunities/li/ulliBusiness Operations/liulliManage regional budgets and expenses effectively/liliEnsure compliance with Neurocrine policies, FDA guidelines, and industry standards/liliMaintain open communication between field teams and headquarters/li/ulliStakeholder Engagement/liulliIs a known entity with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals within their region/liliDevelop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals/liliEngage with local professional and patient advocacy groups/liliCoordinate with pharmacies and payers to optimize market access/li/ulliCross-Functional Collaboration/liulliAlign with marketing, training, sales operations and other departments/li/ul/ulpRequirements:/pulliBS/BA degree AND 8+ years of sales experience in biotech/pharmaceuticals industry, including 3+ years of first-line sales management experience typically acquired through progressively responsible sales roles. Demonstrated track record of successfully building OR/liliMasters degree preferred AND 6+ years of experience as shown above. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an incentive compensation plan with a target of $60,000.00 annually and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
