About the Role

Persona is seeking a junior attorney to provide support on commercial matters. As Associate Commercial Counsel, you'll manage and negotiate commercial relationships, including vendor and sales contracts. Knowledge of privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR) is a plus. The role is located in our San Francisco office and requires office presence three times per week.

What you'll do at Persona

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements involving the company's products and services, including nondisclosure agreements and sales agreements.
• Work directly with the sales team to complete sales negotiations swiftly while protecting the company.
• Draft, update and maintain form agreements.
• Provide advice to the Post‑Sales team regarding customer issues.
• Offer general support as needed, including assisting with drafting internal policies and implementing related processes.

What you'll bring to Persona

• 2 or more years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or similar environment
• A J.D. and active membership in at least one state bar
• Experience with commercial negotiation and drafting skills
• Good judgment and an ability to learn quickly with minimal guidance
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage projects effectively
