About You (Must be 18 years of age)

About Compensation and Benefits

• Pay rates will be negotiated during employment interview and will be determined upon the applicant's level of experience.

About Available Roles

We are looking for candidates for several roles depending on their interest, experience and skill set. Please note the description of the available roles below are not designed to cover or contain comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employees for these roles. Bakery Clerks

• No experience required. On-the-job training provided.
• Provide excellent customer service, address the needs of customers in a timely and effective manner.
• Multitask between daily production and customer service.
• Monitor stock levels in the backroom, display cases, and tables. Stock and rotate (FIFO method) products and check expiration dates to ensure food safety throughout the department.
• Take orders for events and holidays to meet customer requests with attention paid to special details.
• Will to learn how to make specialized products such as fruit tarts, eclairs, and cannoli.
• Work with box cutters, knives, cash registers, espresso machines, ovens, mixers, etc. in a safe manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customers and company policies.
• Protect the safety of oneself, co-workers, and customers at all times, and reports safety-related accidents and incidents to management immediately.

Specialized Industry Experience

Cake Decorators

• All duties, responsibilities, and activities listed above for Bakery Clerks.
• Prepare and decorate all in-house bakery products (e.g. cakes, cupcakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order items).
• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, select pastry, and special-order bakery items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes and other bakery items following standard procedures to meet business demand.
• Create special order cake designs based on customer preferences.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to regularly lift about 10 to 20 lbs. (Occasionally, up to 50 lbs.)
• Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
• Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
• Reaching/ Bending: Up to 8 hours per day.
