What We Do
Executive Search Engagement Managers play a critical role in executing all facets of the executive recruiting lifecycle, from candidate identification to offer negotiation and placement, working with high autonomy. Engagement Managers lead end‑to‑end searches, deliver superior client service, and develop business‑development skills to become future Consultants. They manage all aspects of the recruitment process, including developing search strategies, creating position specifications, conducting candidate outreach, interviews and assessment, and managing both internal and external client relationships. Engagement Managers also mentor junior Search professionals and build subject‑matter expertise in functional areas and industry sectors.
Role Responsibilities
- Research & Writing:
- Creating effective search strategies and position specifications for clients.
- Conducting industry‑specific and client company research, mapping the executive talent landscape, and presenting market insights.
- Preparing business‑development materials in collaboration with Consultants for prospective clients.
- Internal and External Communication:
- Contacting candidates to elicit interest, obtain referrals, and gather market intelligence.
- Conducting in‑depth interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Writing candidate assessments and presenting qualified candidates to clients.
- Managing candidate relationships throughout the search lifecycle and updating Consultants.
- Managing client relationships by preparing and presenting status reports.
- Developing market presence and personal brand as an industry expert.

Basic Role Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience or a minimum of 5+ years of transferable recruiting experience.
- Undergraduate BA/BS degree required.
- Demonstrated expertise in professional communications, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with external clients and candidates and influence outcomes.
Preferred Role Qualifications
- Experience in full life‑cycle recruiting in contingent search, in‑house talent acquisition, or executive search (preferred).
- Experience targeting candidates, developing pitch materials, and conducting market research.
- Track record managing multiple projects across teams.
- Ability to manage end‑to‑end searches with minimal supervision.
- Skill in identifying market trends and researching through various channels.
- Experience developing and mentoring others.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and synthesis abilities.
- Skill in building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
