  • Design and launch reusable AI frameworks adopted across multiple teams, enabling faster and safer product innovation.
  • Deliver high‑impact AI systems that scale from prototype to production, creating measurable business and healthcare outcomes.
  • Mentor engineers, lead workshops, and unblock complex AI design challenges.
  • Drive build‑vs‑buy evaluations for core AI platforms, making strategic decisions on partnerships and open‑source adoption.
  • Influence Komodo's data strategy with an AI‑first lens, embedding model performance, governance, and explainability into workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end‑to‑end AI solutions, from prototyping through production, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and ethical safeguards.
  • Partner across engineering, product, and operations to identify opportunities for AI‑native leverage.
  • Experiment with emerging AI toolchains (Gemini, GPT, Claude, open‑source agents) and guide adoption.
  • Shape reference architectures and reusable frameworks that accelerate product teams.
  • Lead cross‑functional knowledge sharing through playbooks, workshops, and mentorship.
  • Ensure robust observability, governance, and explainability mechanisms for AI features at scale.

Qualifications (Required)

  • Strong technical leadership in generative AI, LLMs, orchestration frameworks, multi‑agent systems, and responsible AI practices.
  • Fluency in Python and modern GenAI toolchains (vLLM, Crew AI, LangChain, Chat Completions API).
  • Full‑stack engineering proficiency (React/Vue front‑end; FastAPI, Django, Flask back‑end).
  • Experience setting company‑wide standards in AI development, governance, and MLOps.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to influence technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent professional experience.

Expectations of AI Use (Required)

  • Automate your own workflows and drive adoption of internal AI agent platforms.
  • Evaluate and scale cutting‑edge models and tools, integrating them into practical solutions across teams.
  • Mentor others on prompt engineering, orchestration, and ethical AI practices.
  • Embed explainability, governance, and bias mitigation into every solution.
  • Demonstrate systems thinking in how AI workflows connect across Komodo's ecosystem.
