Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $300,000 to $350,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and recommend financial strategies, budgets, and plans for board approval, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Oversee financial reporting systems and ensure timely preparation of statements, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Review and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency and compliance.
Manage core financial functions including budgeting, reimbursements, patient accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and cash management.
Provide financial analysis and guidance to senior leadership for strategic decision-making and cost control initiatives.
Requirements
Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and present actionable insights to executive leadership and board members.
Expertise in GAAP compliance, tax regulations, and healthcare financial reporting standards.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing financial teams and implementing process improvements.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills with financial institutions and external partners.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing short-term priorities with long-term strategic planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 5+ years of financial management experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
Advanced credentials such as MBA, CPA, or HFMA Fellowship.
Prior experience as a CFO or senior financial leader in a complex healthcare organization.
Demonstrated success in overseeing budgets, audits, and compliance within a regulated industry.
