About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Student Financial Affairs to serve as the senior leader for student finance, financial aid, and regulatory compliance. This pivotal role is focused on advancing a student-first service model, operational excellence, and regulatory accountability across a system of six colleges and universities. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing a division that bridges compliance, student finance, and student experience, ensuring that all operations reflect best practices and technological advancement while remaining compliant and responsive to the U.S. Department of Education's regulatory environment. Key responsibilities include overseeing the development of new funding pathways, managing external lending partnerships, and leading a comprehensive scholarship and institutional aid strategy. The role also involves strategic and operational oversight, compliance and risk management, and a strong focus on student-centered financial services. Applicants for the Vice President of Student Financial Affairs position at the company should have a Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 7 years' progressive leadership in financial aid, student accounts, or related functions. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of Title IV and federal/state financial aid regulations, strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to student service and operational excellence. Experience in managing audits, program reviews, and a proven track record in modernizing processes and technologies is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in a multi-campus environment, experience with external lending partnerships, and a strong financial acumen. The position demands a leader who can champion a culture of transparency, accountability, and compassion, and who is adept at strategic planning, goal-setting, and continuous improvement in student financial services.
