Contract Payroll Specialist

Location: South San Francisco, CA Duration: 2-3 Months

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and ensure the accuracy of payroll data, including certified payroll and prevailing wage reports.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Prepare and submit certified payroll documentation in adherence to compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
• Stay informed of wage laws, compliance standards, and updates to prevailing wage requirements.

Requirements Qualifications:

• Proven experience in payroll processing, including managing prevailing wage and certified payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance regulations and wage laws specific to California.
• High attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with payroll software and Excel proficiency. Paychex is preferred.
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a plus but not required.

Additional Information:
