Family owned "Wine Importer / Distributor" located in the Richmond area is seeking a "Delivery Driver" for bay area routes. This is a full-time position with full benefits. This position is Tuesday- Friday on an alternate work schedule of 4/10 (4 days/10 hours per day).

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Loading, unloading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Pulling, preparing and reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Obtaining client or customer signatures.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Preparing documents relating to deliveries.
• Operating equipment such as trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Communicating and coordinating with Warehouse Manager, office staff and other team members to make deliveries.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Following best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading. a.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record (MVR will be required).
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Team player with flexibility and a willingness to contribute.
• Ability to read, write and communicate efficiently in English.
• Manual dexterity, visual acuity, reaching, bending, and lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a delivery truck driver required.
• Experience in the Beverage Industry a plus!
• Must be over 21 years of age
