Senior BMS Designer / Programmer – Multiple U.S. Locations Smart Buildings | Controls | Integration | Mission-Critical Projects

I'm partnering with a global leader in consulting, engineering, and commissioning—a firm known for delivering some of the world's most advanced, mission-critical, and smart building facilities. Their team specializes in complex mechanical, electrical, and intelligent building systems for high-performance environments.

As part of their continued growth, they are expanding their Building Management Systems (BMS) and Smart Buildings group and are seeking Senior BMS Designers and Programmers across several U.S. hubs.

About the Opportunity

These positions are ideal for seasoned BMS professionals who are passionate about smart building integration, automation, IoT, analytics, and sustainable design. You'll work on innovative, high-tech facilities and help shape the future of intelligent building environments.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in BMS/controls design, programming, or system integration
  • Strong understanding of HVAC controls, sequences of operation, and commissioning
  • Experience with EPMS, DCIM, or SCADA platforms (a plus)
  • Familiarity with smart building convergence, IoT, and data/analytics tools
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Engineering degree preferred; PE license a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and integrate BMS and smart building technologies
  • Develop control sequences, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Collaborate with MEP teams, owners, and stakeholders to deliver intelligent, high-performance solutions
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
  • Support innovation, standards development, and best practices within the smart buildings division
