General Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Corporate Development Analyst to join our dynamic team. The role will be responsible for conducting financial modeling, preparing investment analyses, building strategic decks for key stakeholders, analyzing operational data, supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and assisting in capital‑raising activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial markets as well as the sports and active lifestyle industries, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.

Compensation

Estimated $90,000.00/year with bonus potential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sophisticated financial modeling analyses.
  • Prepare strategic books & investment memoranda for management, board, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support the full M&A lifecycle—from sourcing and diligence through deal execution and post‑close integration.
  • Perform market and industry research to support major business decisions.
  • Support key stakeholder meetings by preparing relevant materials and presentations.
  • Maintain and update databases of industry‑specific financial and operational metrics.
  • Communicate professionally with senior management, managers, other employees, vendors, members, senior staff, owners, sponsors, and clients.
  • Prepare comprehensive, detailed reports for senior management, clients, and agencies.
  • Promote harmonious relations among members, staff, vendors, and the community at large.
  • Promote the company's safety goals and actively work toward ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Actively further corporate objectives and continuously support improvement and positive change, including participating on corporate designated committees to improve the company and business operations.
  • Make professional development a consistent priority.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance (preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, results‑driven mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
  • Business and Management Principles knowledge (strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership).
  • Management of Financial Resources (budgeting, banking, understanding financial reports).
  • Problem Anticipation / Deductive Reasoning abilities.
  • Strong written and oral comprehension and expression.
  • Computer proficiency: ability to develop and maintain records in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other required software.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Regular contact with outside personnel via phone, email, and in person.
  • Locations change between indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Ability to handle potentially unpleasant or angry individuals.
  • Capable of adapting to frequently changing environment.
  • Ability to sit and stand as needed.
