Analyze current and future business process models, high‑level requirements (scope), and detailed functional specifications or agile user stories with acceptance criteria.
Guides and supports other Business Analysts and Product Owners as they develop detailed requirements or agile user stories, leads or contributes to all acceptance testing efforts (SAT, UAT, dry runs, etc.).
Supports the implementation of IT solutions that require GxP validation. Communicates effectively with IT development teams and the extended project team. Makes BA project decisions with impact at process, organization, or program level. Tailors messaging to different target audiences and chooses appropriate communication channels.
Acts as a Lead BA or Product Owner delegate on large global or multi‑portfolio initiatives. Actively looks for opportunities to improve how business processes are executed.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Knowledge of solutions such as LIMS, ELN, Quality Systems (Veeva), and data management solutions.
- Experience and understanding of application development methodology, including Agile and Waterfall, process modeling and re‑engineering, user acceptance testing, organizational change management, and large‑scale global system implementations.
- Proven leadership abilities and emotional intelligence.
- Success in handling high‑complexity, high‑profile, large‑scale global programs.
- Skills in relationship building, influencing, customer focus, decision‑making, and problem‑solving.
- Ability to learn quickly in unfamiliar business areas and remain curious.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, solid business acumen, and well‑honed influencing skills.
- Self‑motivated and team‑oriented; able to work autonomously or as part of a geographically dispersed team. Comfortable with Google collaboration tools, JIRA, and Client ALM.
- Experience supporting implementation of IT solutions requiring GxP validation.
- Experience as part of an agile development team, proficiency with agile methodologies and concepts such as User Stories, Story Maps, Personas, etc.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, or science with 5‑7 years of related experience.
- Experience in technical development, material sciences, or manufacturing within a pharmaceutical company.
