Salary Range (Grade: Professional 305): $54,800.00 – $82,200.00 per year. Pay varies by skill, experience, certifications, and business needs.

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) plays a critical role in ensuring educational products meet WGU's quality standards. The QA Analyst works independently, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, and maintains compliance with Military and Veteran Education Benefits regulations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Track QA processes and monitor team progress.
  • Act as compliance officer for the team.
  • Manage internal and external audits and risk‑based surveys.
  • Mentor colleagues on risk‑based controls and QA procedures.
  • Communicate QA requirements to the team and provide updates.
  • Serve as point of contact for supervisors and colleagues, sharing feedback and providing training.
  • Manage the Military Support Queue for review, auditing, distribution, and triage.
  • Assist in resolving cases and certifying attendance as needed.
  • Maintain a record of QA feedback history and actions taken in an accessible database.
  • Apply knowledge of Military and Veteran Benefit procedures and VA operating systems.
  • Cultivate professionalism, quality control, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Ensure QA standards align with WGU's vision and mission.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Train and assist SMEs on quality evaluation processes and tasks.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Strong Microsoft Office and internet skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Banner, and VA/DOD operating systems.
  • Background in online instruction and adult learning models.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related experience with Military Education benefits and leadership experience.
  • 1–3 years experience in process or workflow management, or equivalent.
  • Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year of quality assurance experience and experience in Military Education benefits.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Full‑time Regular Position (40 hours/week).
