Job Summary
Uses DBT/CBT and trauma informed methods to run therapuetic groups and engage patients on the inpatient adolescent unit. Compeletes assessments and 1:1 checkin with patients. Offers support for emotional dyresgulation and helps in crisis situations.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $32.09 - $68.87 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in related area and 1+ related work experience; and/or equivalent experience.
* Experience working with adolescents in an inpatient or acute psychiatric setting preferred.
* Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
* Basic skills in providing behavioral / educational interventions.
* Knowledge of applicable laws and ethical standards associated with profession.
* Basic knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
* Effective verbal and written communication. Demonstrated active listening and persuasion skills.
* Skills in collaborating with interdisciplinary team.
* Knowledge of business software and electronic / medical records systems.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
* Licensed or license-eligible in California (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD, or PhD).
