LHH is working with a rapidly growing Non‑Profit company located in San Francisco who is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join the team. As a company, they are committed to providing a positive change in the community.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Process and reconcile bank transactions, credit card statements, and expense reports
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Assist with the annual audit and tax return preparation
• Support the development of the annual budget and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with a larger ERP system
