About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter ( Contract ) - (Software Engineer, Technical Product Manager, and Data Science Roles) to help us quickly fill (4) roles on our Technology and Data Science teams by January 5, 2026. You will recruit highly skilled Software Engineers, Technical Product Managers, and Data Scientists with a strong emphasis on candidates who specialize in API development, integration, and Python-based solutions, credit bureau data experience and AI/LLM's experience. This role requires a blend of technical fluency, strong sourcing capabilities, and the ability to partner closely with hiring managers to build high-performing technical teams. ** These roles must be filled by January 5, 2026.** Contract begins from the time of hire and ends on January 5, 2026, with potential conversion to full-time based on demonstrated success in fulfilling contract needs and current business needs. ** Contract services will be a maximum 25 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively and efficiently manage the full recruitment lifecycle for top talent including intake sessions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and scheduling.
  • Partner closely with the VP of People, Engineering, Product, and Data Science leadership to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and success profiles.
  • Source and engage high-quality candidates with expertise in:
    • REST and GraphQL APIs
    • API-first products and architectures
    • Technical product management with strong API knowledge
    • AI/ML/LLM experience
  • Evaluate technical and functional skills through resume review, deploying technical assessments, and structured interviews.
  • Quickly build and maintain strong talent pipelines for software engineering, technical product, and data science roles.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques (LinkedIn, GitHub, Boolean search, referrals, niche communities, etc.).
  • Provide a seamless candidate experience through transparent communication, efficient scheduling, and timely updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize hiring processes, interview structures, and market insights.
  • Track and report recruiting pipeline, time-to-fill, conversion rates, and competitive market data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4-7+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally in financial services, fintech, high-growth environments.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting for:
    • Backend Software Engineers (Python-focused)
    • Technical Product Managers with API integration and platform experience
    • Strong understanding of API concepts (REST, GraphQL, integrations, data flows) and modern Python engineering practices.
    • Proven ability to assess both technical depth and product/strategic skillsets.
  • Hands-on experience sourcing passive technical talent using multiple platforms and strategies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ATS platforms (LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Lever, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Understanding of microservices, developer tooling, and data engineering stacks
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into compelling candidate-facing messaging
