This acquisition brings us one step closer to achieving our ambition of becoming the #1 neuroscience company worldwide. As a Neuroscience Sales Representative (NSR), you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within your assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner. The role demands passion for patients, tenacity for results, adaptability, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Job Responsibilities

  • Follow compliance guidelines and drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the assigned territory by calling on predominantly Primary Care HCP offices and select PC targets both in-person and virtually.
  • Develop superior product and disease state knowledge and effectively educate and engage healthcare professionals in dialogue about clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on‑label prescribing.
  • Use assigned budgets effectively to achieve territory objectives, customizing discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
  • Function independently with sales proficiency to drive performance and ensure forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
  • Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, and share such information with relevant internal Intra‑Cellular stakeholders.
  • Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region, selecting programs/resources appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system.
  • Provide special education to healthcare providers through appropriate programs that fall within ITCI's ethical guidelines.
  • Work with District Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives and capitalizes on formulary approvals and other opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialist‑II's on common objectives and sharing best practices.
  • Accountable for timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.
  • Meet or exceed all NSR deliverables.
  • Create and build a compliant business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources, and products.
  • Complete all company and job‑related training as assigned within required timelines.
  • Note that this job description is not exhaustive; duties may change at any time with or without notice.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, valid driver's license, and safe driving record.
  • 1+ years of documented B2B sales experience; experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, and/or medical device sales preferred.
  • Experience with antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales is a plus.
  • Strong desire and passion for improving patient and caregiver lives; patient‑centricity is essential.
  • High integrity and adherence to the Company's Compliance policies and procedures.
  • Self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial drive, excellent judgment, strong teamwork and cross‑functional skills.
  • Proven track record of learning and adapting to evolving environments such as Covid‑19.
  • Agility and adaptability to the changing telemedicine/virtual environment.
  • Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress, diagnose performance issues, and identify new opportunities.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and listening skills.
  • Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Work hours may include meetings outside normal working hours.
  • Territories may require overnight travel; domestic travel to corporate headquarters, training, and sales meetings may be required periodically.
