Mechanical Project Engineer

We are a growing Engineering Design and Consulting Firm seeking mid-level Mechanical Project Engineers.

Tasks

  • Apply Current Building Codes and Understand Local Jurisdictions
  • Design of Building HVAC and Plumbing Systems
  • Perform Engineering Calculation and Analysis
  • Attend Design Coordination Meetings
  • Conduct Site Visits of Building Systems
  • Prepare CAD Drawings and Design Specifications for Permits and Construction

Responsibilities

  • Work under Supervision of our Project Managers
  • Responsible for Coordinating with Architects and other Consulting Engineers to Resolve Conflicts on Plans and During Construction
  • Organize Work Sequences under Tight Schedule and Coordinate Work in Workgroup Environment
  • Participate in Projects from Schematic to Construction Phases
  • Review Submittals and Shop Drawings from Contractors
  • Prepare Response to Plan Check Comments

Qualifications Required

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • 5+ Years Work Experience in this Field
  • EIT Certificate
  • PE License (+)
  • AutoCAD Work Experience
  • Technical Drafting Skill
  • Revit and BIM Work Experience (+)
  • Building HVAC System Design Work Experience
  • Good Communication, Presentation, Documentation and Report Writing Skills
  • Great Team Player and Works Well under Pressure
