Vice President — Investment Banking (Semiconductors)

A leading global investment bank is seeking a Vice President to join its Technology & Semiconductors Investment Banking team in San Francisco. The group advises clients across the semiconductor and broader technology ecosystem on strategic M&A, equity and debt capital markets, and financing transactions. This role offers the opportunity to join a highly active, growing platform with a strong international presence and deep sector expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day execution of complex M&A, financing, and advisory transactions within the semiconductor and technology sectors.
• Oversee and mentor junior professionals, ensuring excellence in financial analysis, valuation, and presentation materials.
• Support senior bankers in client relationship management and business development initiatives.
• Conduct detailed industry and company research to support transaction origination and execution.
• Collaborate with internal partners across product and coverage teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions.

Qualifications:

• 6–10 years of experience in investment banking, ideally with exposure to technology or semiconductor transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage deal execution and client communication independently.
• Strong technical and analytical skills, including financial modeling and valuation.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
