Location: San Francisco or New York (Hybrid)
Compensation: $170k–$350k + Competitive Equity.
YOE: 3+ years of experience as a generalist engineer, ideally in both startups and bigger engineering teams
About the role
- Own product features end-to-end: design, prototype, implement, and iterate.
- Ship high-quality code across frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Python/Node).
- Rapidly prototype experiments to validate product hypotheses with real users.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to prioritize customer impact.
- Troubleshoot, refactor, and maintain a clean, well‑tested codebase in a fast‑moving environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years building and shipping full‑stack B2B SaaS products.
- Strong production experience with React + TypeScript and Python (or Node).
- Demonstrable ownership: projects you led from concept → deployment.
- Clear, concise communication — able to explain trade‑offs and technical decisions.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working autonomously in a 0→1 / early‑stage product context.
- Bonus: open‑source contributions, a public GitHub with meaningful projects, or prior AI/ML systems exposure.
- Be an early engineer at a rapidly scaling Series B startup — huge individual impact.
- Work on a mission that shapes how brands create and optimize content at scale using AI.
- High autonomy, strong engineering craft, and a collaborative, learning‑first culture.
