Messner Reeves LLP, a full‑service business law firm with 10 offices nationwide, seeks an experienced Associate Attorney in California to work in practice areas including General Liability, Business Litigation, Healthcare, Personal Injury, Construction Law, Commercial Litigation, Labor and Employment, Habitability, Insurance Defense, Professional Liability, Premises Liability, and Product Liability.

Pay & Location

Base pay: $130,000 – $170,000 per year. Located in California. (Pay range provided by Messner Reeves LLP.)

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, written discovery, depositions, and client communications. Maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients while meeting tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two+ years' experience.
• Experience in all phases of discovery, including written discovery and depositions.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to foster strong relationships with potential clients while maintaining excellent services for existing clients.
• Initiative, strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and impeccable communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Pro‑active in handling necessary tasks.
• Licensed to Practice Law in California State.
• Located in California.
