Description:

A renowned organization in San Francisco is seeking a Desktop Support professional. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide hands-on IT support within a dynamic team.

About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Day
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8am to 6pm (1-hour lunch break)
  • Setting: Office environment
Responsibilities:
  • Issuing and setting up laptops, installing software, and supporting conference rooms
  • Handling walk-up requests, remote support, and security tickets
  • Utilizing ticketing systems like FreshService to ensure quick issue resolution
  • Assisting in office moves, including equipment setup and meeting room technology
  • Providing day-to-day IT support, including call logging and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of desktop support experience
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred
  • Certifications like A+ or Network+ beneficial
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11
  • Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems such as FreshService
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to interact with senior stakeholders confidently
Desired Skills:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • Certifications in specialized IT disciplines such as ITIL
  • Experience with LAN/WAN/VPN troubleshooting
  • Strong customer service mindset
