A renowned organization in San Francisco is seeking a Desktop Support professional. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide hands-on IT support within a dynamic team.
About the Opportunity:
Shift: Day
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am to 6pm (1-hour lunch break)
Setting: Office environment
Responsibilities:
Issuing and setting up laptops, installing software, and supporting conference rooms
Handling walk-up requests, remote support, and security tickets
Utilizing ticketing systems like FreshService to ensure quick issue resolution
Assisting in office moves, including equipment setup and meeting room technology
Providing day-to-day IT support, including call logging and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
3+ years of desktop support experience
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred
Certifications like A+ or Network+ beneficial
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11
Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD
Knowledge of ticketing systems such as FreshService
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to interact with senior stakeholders confidently
Desired Skills:
3+ years of relevant experience
Advanced degree in a related field
Certifications in specialized IT disciplines such as ITIL
Experience with LAN/WAN/VPN troubleshooting
Strong customer service mindset
