Position Description:

We seek a highly motivated Assistant or Associate Scientist I to join a dynamic team of professionals in the Product Development team to support our company mission. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and innovative, working very closely with our Principal Scientist - Lyophilization. The ideal candidate will have experience with immunoassays, such as ELISA, MSD, and qPCR. Familiarity with lyophilization processes is highly desired.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Apply laboratory skills and experience (design and execute experiments) to generate high quality data. Perform data analysis, construct graphs and report results.
• Maintain accurate records of experimental work performed.
• Plan and perform lyophilization activities
• Perform root cause investigation and corrective actions.
• Perform other duties and assume additional departmental responsibilities as required
  
  

Skills & Requirements

• BS degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, chemistry, biology, biochemistry or related field with 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience running ELISA, qPCR or other related immunoassay platform assay
• Hands on experience in lyophilization is highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic, team environment
• Ability to exercise practical judgement and to apply knowledge/skills that suit the situations
• Innovative thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to generate new ideas and concepts.
• Attention to details and ability to work on multiple complex projects.
• Excellent writing and communication skills
  
  

The base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 - $90,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
