Shipping & Receiving Associate

Payrate: $24-$26/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

6 Month Assignment-covering a LOA

Location: San Leandro CA

Overview:

We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, with a focus on international logistics and UPS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments and deliveries
• Prepare and package outgoing domestic and international shipments
• Operate UPS shipping software to generate labels and manage logistics
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and receipts
• Coordinate with internal teams and external carriers to ensure timely delivery
• Keep the shipping/receiving area organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards
• Lift and move packages up to 50 lbs as needed

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and consistently
• Prior experience with international shipping procedures
• Proficiency using UPS computer systems and shipping software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with customs documentation and international freight coordination
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
