Our Vision is to be The most helpful hardware stores on the planet by providing an Amazing Customer Experience every time./ppJob Description Cashier/ppPosition Summary: The Cashiers primary responsibility is to drive sales by consistently providing our customers world class customer service which will support our mission of being the most helpful hardware stores on the planet!/pulliPuts Customers First, Tasks Second./liliMaintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements and provide this information to customers./liliExecute the daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management./liliContinually work on increasing knowledge of the products we sell and their uses/liliMerchandising skills and abilities./liliRecognition of merchandising issues, stock problems, pricing concerns, labeling and signage issues, etc. within your area of responsibility and/or the store as a whole; and notification of management on these issues./li/ulpEducation/Training: High School diploma or GED equivalent, will train high school students. Possess a willingness to learn./ppExperience: Establishing relationships and working with customers. Trade skills accompanied by a personality that will support our Core Values and mission is a plus but will train./ppSkills/Knowledge: Knowledge of retail computer systems a plus. Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
