A growing, venture‑backed AI SaaS company is looking for a hands‑on Senior Accountant to join its expanding finance team. The company is scaling rapidly and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment where you can make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Own portions of the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations for cash, accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Support financial statement preparation in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Assist with audit requests and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion.
• Partner with FP&A and other cross‑functional teams to provide financial data and insights for decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting processes as the company scales.
• Maintain and document internal controls in compliance with SOX readiness efforts.
• Assist with special projects, system implementations, and other ad‑hoc analyses as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or progress toward certification preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a mix of public accounting and industry.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
