As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in bridging technical communication between local clients and R&D team in China. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless project execution while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, accurately understanding and translating their needs into clear technical requirements for the R&D team.
  • Independently manage on‑site equipment installation, debugging, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and software‑related issues to minimize client downtime.
  • Assist clients in developing and executing hardware/software test validation plans, including data analysis and Python‑based debugging and optimization.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying unspoken needs and providing valuable feedback to sales and product teams for future improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Automation, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automation equipment design, installation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Fluency in both English and Chinese, with an understanding of U.S. workplace culture and communication styles.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software principles, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and conduct professional discussions with clients.
  • Familiar with Python for debugging, testing, and software optimization.
