Client Service Representative – San Francisco, CA – Vetcor

Polk Street Animal Hospital (PSAH) is located in the bustling Polk Gulch neighborhood, where high demand for veterinary care drives our mission to provide the highest quality of care to clients and their pets.

We are seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) with a passion for veterinary medicine, excellent client care, and an ambition to become an integral part of our client service team.

Responsibilities

CSRs greet clients, differentiate routine cases from emergency cases, schedule appointments, enter client, patient, and financial data into the computer, generate invoices and explain them to clients, process payments, and manage medical records.

This role offers the possibility of advancement to a supervisory position, with opportunities to lead initiatives, support team development, and help shape client service standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent telephone and in‑person communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Compassion for clients and their fur families, and understanding of the stress they endure
  • 1 year of veterinary client service experience is preferred but not required

Schedule

Full‑time, 4/10 hour shifts per week. Every other Saturday.

Compensation

$20–$27 per hour, commensurate with experience and skills.
