Product Engineer | AI Agents for Enterprise Compliance | $280K DOE + Equity | Palo Alto

Confero is partnered with a profitable Series A AI startup ($20M from Anthropic) building autonomous AI agents that execute enterprise compliance end-to-end; testing controls, running audits, and collecting evidence. Not AI assistants but AI that replaces the work.

The Company

  • 10× ARR growth in the last 12 months
  • Cash-flow positive with live customers: Netflix, Reddit, Plaid, Fortune 500s, top universities
  • Team: 5 engineers today, scaling to 15+ in Palo Alto

The Role

  • Build and ship customer-facing product features (not infra/internal tools)
  • Python-heavy backend + React/TypeScript UI
  • Direct exposure to enterprise customers and live production usage

Required Experience

✅ Minimum 2–5 years as a Software / Product / Full‑Stack Engineer

✅ Has shipped customer-facing products (not purely platform, internal tooling, or research)

✅ Strong Python experience (FastAPI / Django / similar)

✅ Comfortable in fast, ambiguous startup environments (Seed–Series D ideal)

Why this matters

Your work goes straight into production and is used by real customers - you're building the product layer that makes autonomous AI usable by enterprises.
