Overview
We are seeking a highly collaborative Architectural Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to join our integrated design team. You will work alongside architects, interior designers, landscape architects, and urban designers to shape sustainable, inclusive environments that create positive change in people's lives. This role offers the opportunity to support a wide range of project typologies, with a focus on workplace environments—including adaptive reuse and transformative interior projects. We currently collaborate in the office Monday through Thursday and allow Fridays to be in-office or WFH for most roles.
Location & Compensation
San Francisco, CA (also Seattle, WA). Annual salary range: $108,000 – $125,000. Pay is based on experience, qualifications, internal equity and location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Organize, plan and lead the design efforts of an integrated design team through all phases of design, from programming and concept design through construction administration.
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients and consultants, fostering exceptional communication and collaboration.
- Manage contracts, budgets, schedules, staffing, and overall project delivery to ensure design and technical excellence.
- Participate in project pursuits, client presentations, and community engagement activities.
- Develop and advance creative, sustainable, and inclusive design solutions aligned with Mithun's values and mission.
- Facilitate the development of accurate architectural documentation for all phases of the design process.
- Coordinate the efforts of multiple consultants and engineered systems for seamless project integration.
- Coach and mentor interdisciplinary staff and guide project team members to support professional growth and achieve project milestones.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 10+ years of post‑graduate architecture experience, with recent experience as a project manager leading large, complex projects through all phases of design and completion.
- Experience leading workplace projects preferred.
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in architecture.
- Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills.
- Ability to build engaging client relationships, manage consultant teams, and take responsibility for fees, budget, staffing and billings.
- Ability to define and drive project milestones, facilitate project meetings and effectively coach and mentor team members.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Architectural registration is a plus.
