Company Description
Hadron Energy specializes in Micro Modular Reactor (MMR) development, design, and research based in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City. As the leading MMR developer, Hadron Energy is building factory-produced, transportable microreactors that provide 24/7 carbon-free power for data centers, government facilities, industrial sites, and remote communities. Our mission is to create a brighter, healthier, and more equitable energy future.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Program Manager, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The position is ideal for candidates with strong organizational and technical backgrounds who are passionate about leading complex engineering programs that advance next‑generation nuclear technology.
The Program Manager will oversee all projects, schedules, and deliverables across Hadron Energy's engineering and design teams, ensuring progress is tracked on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This individual will serve as the central coordination point between engineering, licensing, operations, and executive leadership—ensuring milestones are met, risks are managed, and the team remains aligned on Hadron's development roadmap.
You will work closely with mechanical, nuclear, and regulatory engineers to translate high‑level goals into structured plans, monitor timelines, and remove blockers to maintain steady momentum. The role requires excellent communication, technical understanding, and project management discipline to keep Hadron's fast‑moving programs organized and on target.

- Facilitate weekly engineering syncs, design reviews, and cross‑functional alignment meetings
- Proactively identify schedule risks, dependencies, and resource gaps—and propose mitigation strategies
- Track and summarize key deliverables for regulatory submissions, design milestones, and prototype development
- Partner with engineering leads to break large objectives into actionable sprints and measurable results
- Support the creation of technical documentation, status reports, and internal presentations
- Ensure all projects remain aligned with company objectives, budgets, and timelines
- Foster a culture of clarity, accountability, and continuous improvement across the engineering organization

- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Experience in energy, nuclear, manufacturing, aerospace, or other regulated technology sectors is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of engineering workflows, design processes, and configuration control
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business teams
- Experience building and maintaining detailed schedules, risk registers, and project documentation
