Work Location/Structure: San Francisco, California - Hybrid (in-office presence required Tuesday through Thursday at the San Francisco headquarters)

About the Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in the Financial Services industry, is looking for 3 experienced Mid-Level UI/UX Designers to join their internal digital platforms team for a six-month engagement with the possibility of extension. This project involves designing intuitive, seamless user experiences that support internal workflows. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on design skills, strong user empathy, and the ability to balance usability with business impact. This is a highly collaborative role with ownership over research, prototyping, testing, and iteration.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

• Conduct user research: Convert findings into actionable design decisions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes: Communicate design concepts effectively.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Gather requirements and deliver usable solutions.
• Iterate designs: Use user feedback, analytics, and usability testing to refine designs.
• Contribute to and maintain design system consistency: Ensure consistency across products.
• Stay current with UX best practices and accessibility standards: Apply the latest industry standards.
• Support additional UX/UI tasks as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio.
• Deep expertise in Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design and usability principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
• Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
