Description:

Postdoctoral Researcher - Power Electronics in MRI

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative postdoctoral scholar to pioneer the development of novel high-power radiofrequency (RF) coils for multinuclear magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The goal is to create versatile, high-performance coils that will enable groundbreaking studies in metabolic imaging by enabling MRI of any nucleus with one set of hardware. You will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and collaborate with a world-class team of physicists, engineers, and neuroscientists.

Responsibilities

  • Construct and test coil prototypes on the bench and in our high-field MRI systems.
  • Develop new methodologies for multi-frequency coil design and decoupling.
  • Publish research in high-impact journals and present findings at international conferences.

Requirements

  • A PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Strong background in high-frequency digital and high-power analog circuit design.
