Overview

Edge Pursuit is seeking an experienced Consultant (Senior and/or emerging Manager level) to join its team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a background in operational accounting and hands-on experience in payroll administration and accounting. Excellent analytical, documentation, project management and communication skills are a must. This position will be responsible for assisting our clients in their end-to-end accounting operations, special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed. A curiosity/interest in financial reporting, incl. SEC reporting, is a PLUS!

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
• Ability to explain and articulate complex business and/or accounting concepts
• Willingness and ability to wear multiple hats and work in different aspects and roles within the accounting function
• Clinical stage biotech/pharma and/or tech industry experience a plus
• Experience using accounting software (e.g. NetSuite, QuickBooks Online (QBO), Bill.com, Gusto and/or Paychex (or equivalent payroll software)
