Position

iOS Engineer wanted – help reinvent how stories are told with video. Senior iOS engineer to own the mobile app, from architecture to pixel-perfect UX in an early-stage, VC-backed startup.

The startup is building the next-generation creative video app — think “CapCut meets Pixar-level polish” but simplified for everyday creators. It features one-tap to animate, remix, transform, and a fast, AI-assisted mobile interface designed for creatives.

Responsibilities center on delivering a high-performance Swift-based app with a focus on user experience and media workflows.

What you'll be doing:

• Build out a high-performance Swift-based app from the ground up
• Partner closely with product & design to ship features users rave about
• Lead technical decision-making across mobile: performance, animation, media workflows
• Iterate fast and push the boundaries of what's possible on iOS

You're right for this if you:

• Have 5+ years of experience shipping consumer iOS apps (App Store presence ideal)
• Write clean, scalable Swift (bonus if you're into SwiftUI, animations, or video frameworks)
• Care deeply about user experience, microinteractions, and design consistency
• Want to work in a startup where your code and ideas actually shape the product
• Salary ~$175–250K + real equity
• Well-funded by top-tier investors
• Tight-knit team of ex-Big Tech and creative tech folks
• Onsite in Palo Alto 3-4 days a week
