The Case Specialist I works as part of the Rally Family Visitation team providing direct services to families referred through the Family Court, primarily in Marin, San Francisco and/or San Mateo. Specialists work with Case Coordinators and Supervisors to deliver professional services centering the best interest of children and protecting adult survivors of domestic violence. The Case Specialist's work schedule is determined by program needs and may include holidays, weekends and weekdays/evenings, as well as providing on-call coverage during direct service hours. Rally Family Visitation Services is a community program of UCSF Health Saint Francis Hospital, serving Bay Area children and families since 1991.
Under general supervision, works on operational and/or procedural assignments which are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving procedural issues. Tasks involve the handling of confidential information. Makes recommendations to improve processes and/or procedures. This is a position that is not covered by the Higher Education Employer-Employee Relations Act (HEERA), because they are: 1) Confidential meaning employee's duties normally require access to confidential information which contributes significantly to the development of management's positions in bargaining or grievances; or 2) the employee is employed outside of California at a location with 100 or fewer employees.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $22.67 - $32.01 (Hourly Rate).
