CNC Machinist And Programmer

As a CNC Machinist and Programmer, you will interpret 3D models and engineering drawings to plan setups, program CAM, design fixturing, and run inspection workflows. You will operate a variety of CNC machines, including 3-axis, 3+2, and 5-axis mills, live-tool lathes, waterjets, and laser cutters while maintaining precise tolerances. Additionally, you will develop innovative work-holding and tooling solutions for prototyping and generate efficient CAM programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain CNC machines with precision.
  • Develop and implement work-holding and tooling solutions.
  • Generate and manage CAM programs and templates.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using various measuring tools.
  • Optimize machining processes and contribute to continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineers and machinists for design-for-manufacturing feedback.
  • Support the fabrication of tooling and fixtures for R&D hardware.
  • Document setups, inspection results, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and equipment readiness.
  • Manage assigned projects to ensure timely delivery of parts.

Essential Skills:

  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience with 5-axis or mill-turn exposure.
  • Proficiency in CAM software such as Fusion 360 or Mastercam.
  • Strong skills in GD&T and metrology, preferably with CMM experience.
  • Manual machining skills and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with welding, including aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Welding certification.
  • Mastercam programming experience.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $97760.00 - $122720.00/yr.
