About the Role We're partnered with one of the region's most respected and rapidly growing Water/Wastewater General Contractors to find a Senior Project Engineer for a major project based in San Francisco. This is a key role leading the mechanical efforts on a high‑profile W/WW project. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and the drive to progress into a Project Management role within 12 months.

Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the mechanical scope of the project, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Support the Project Manager in planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate closely with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to keep the project moving smoothly.
  • Review technical drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
Requirements
  • 2–6 years of experience in Water/Wastewater construction.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and large‑scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
