Job Description

As a Security Guard Flex - Telecom Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. This part‑time, flexibility‑based role allows you to use the Claim a Shift platform to pick up shifts that fit your availability, building a schedule that works for you while gaining valuable site experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner within a tech, media, and telecom environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities and potential issues.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious behavior or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while representing Allied Universal on site.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Applications with criminal histories considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.
